I decided to weigh in my loss here today to help with my weigh in days. Glad to be back at 139 today. There is good and bad for me on the weight loss front this week. The good things are: I bought some lower cal things to help me along, like Boca burgers, light buns, light bread, WW yogurt, fruit, veggies, etc. So I think those things have been helpful in keeping my weight n check. I also started working on Wed and Friday from 9-5, so I have a set amt. of food there- whatever I bring is what I have to eat for the day.
The bad thing is that I was only able to exercise on Monday and Tuesday of this week. I haven't exercised in 4 days and not by choice! I totally wanted to run this morning, but we had a b-day party for my son today and scurried around like little mice cleaning, decorating the cake etc to be ready for the party today at 1pm, so I just didn't have any time. I will run tomorrow and be able to hit the gym again on Monday. The party went well, it was a Star Wars themed party, so we had 11 little 4-5 year olds running around in costumes with Light Sabers! Amazing nothing got broken! Maybe I'll post a pic later. My baby will turn 5 on Monday. Sigh.
Oh, the really bad thing is my ipod just crashed on me today! I had bought and loaded on some Star Wars songs for effect for the party, put it on my docking station, and a bit later it was not working. This is sad news for me. I need that on to run. My treadmill is facing a cement wall in the basement- no working tv down there and no other place to put it! I hope somecan can fix it otherwise I think I will have to bite the bullet and buy another one.
I like the job I started. I was hired temporarily part time at our church as the receptionist. They are looking for a full time person. I only want to work 2 days being I still have 3 young enough kids. It may turn into permanant work if they decide to hire another part time person instead. It's pretty peaceful and easy work in a nice enviroment, so I am thankful for the opporunity to earn a little extra $, get a break from kids, and my son is so happy to get to play at his friend's house who is watching him. I hope it works out for longer term, but we'll see.
