Uuugg! Time to pay the piper I suppose. I didn't weigh in after my Halloween cheat because I was hoping it would be gone soon but it has been 7 days since my last weigh in so 208....... up 3 lbs from my last weigh in. Well I went to court this morning. Before we went to a judge we went in the mediator to see if the case could be settled. I paniced, I froze, I did good to not cry.... I really don't handle confrontation very well and I wish I had a lawyer. Well anyways I settled for $1000. It is way less than the price of my car but I could have walked away with nothing if the judge agreed with them. I am glad I am getting something. My car was valued around $2500.00 We had KFC for lunch and I had an original chicken breast and peeled most of the breading off and I had green beans. I am just so glad this whole court thing is over! Whew! If I hadn't taken it to court I wouldnt have seen a dime so this is better than nothing. I do still have my car too so maybe I can sell it for parts or something??? It actually still runs and didnt hurt it much mechanically. It also has nearly new tires on it. Maybe I can get something out of it. Hope everyone is having a great day! I know a heavy load has been lifted from my shoulders!
