I feel like whenever I start a workout program I gain weight. I know muscle weighs more that fat, but I still find it disheartening. I just started a core program (very basic) to lose belly fat. Any tips on making the numbers on the scale go down?
159.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Muscle repair requires water. That’s the initial gain with exercise. Do measurements instead.
