Well I have been gone from the program for awhile. I am not good at consistently inputting my food and calories, exercise. But I know I need to.
Previously I was not taking any medications. I am now. I have an enlarged heart, which I found out about when I was in good shape years ago. But I had not consulted a cardiologist. Reason being I have never had high blood pressure. And I was never short of breath or anything. But my ankles and feet started swelling at the end of the day.
So that was a sign that I had Prehypertension. So I discovered that if your blood pressure is not 120 or under systolic(upper#) and 80 or under diastolic (lower#) SO I was in stage 1 Prehypertension area. Along with being a black man. It makes me susceptible to heart attack or stroke. Even though I dont have high blood pressure which is 160 systolic and 100 diastolic. So now I wear compression socks and take blood pressure medicine.
But a funny thing happened in between I discovered my metabolism again. I don't eat if I am not hungry. I do the tread mill 30 minutes every other day. An I use my total fit in between. I try to eat vegetables and protein. And I stay away from fast food and I limit use of salt and sugar. And I use a fitbit to stay active and it is working. Slow and steady wins the race.
I fight the urge to eat when I am not hungry. I keep myself moving.
337.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 147.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
