That's the same thing my doctor always says K! Good going! The body is designed for homeostasis. The Keto has so many more health benefits. I made sure it was good for me before I started it. Its not another Fad diet......I think I tried them all. He also told me "Who won the race, the rabbit or the turtle" layman terms:) Awesome you are doing so well! Enjoy your week!

All I can say is "I know how you feel"! At least you did not gain - been there and done that - broke a small bone in my foot on Sept 4, at 82 years old, it has been slow healing, today was 1st day back at the gym - starting over at 193 lbs aiming for 150 - good luck to us both!!! Stu

Sunburst - I tried ketos for a few weeks. My problem is I need to be able to cheat every now and then. I never figured out how to cheat without having to start at the beginning after the cheat. And then I was missing fruit sooo much and berries just wasn’t cutting it. So I’m back at counting calories, which is ok. Either I’m counting carbs w/ketos or calories w/a low cal diet.

Ezrider 101 - I sure know how you feel! I had a shoulder replacement 2 weeks ago so I have been able to exercise much. And then I had a crazy weekend. And then I ended up changing from ketos back to a low cal diet. I keep thinking I’m gonna step on the scale and will have gained 20 lbs. I sure hope not!! Good luck with your foot, and your exercising. TTFN!! 👋🏼

for you just cutting back your carbs and eating a well balanced diet with enough protein and no refined flour and sugar products should do you well. people who love their berries and low sugar fruit will struggle too much to do a no carb to 20 carb diet plan. reduced calories and smart healthy food choices sound like the perfect plan for you.

Hi K, you are the only one that knows what makes you feel best. I was told 40 g carbs is okay. I love berries too. It's not a race. First we got to get everyone healed and that takes energy. Wishing you fast recoveries and happy eating!

Baskington - I think you’re spot on. A lower carb plan I continue to follow since I tried Keto and my low calorie plan I’ve been doing since May is what my body responds well to and what I’m happy with is my diet niche. Thanks much! People here are so wise. 🤩

Sunburst - Yes please! Let’s all heal! Healing is good! Lol. EzRider101 and I and whoever else might be healing, let’s all feed our ailments with a Snickers bar, right?? Just kidding .... damn it. With good food and exercise that won’t break anymore bones.😁
