I just started South Beach for the second time. I just got married in August and regretted not being at my target weight on my wedding day. My husband and I actually started the diet on Tuesday, Jan. 9. We went out of town and I messed up a little... not too bad, but not perfect. Today is day 4 of Phase 1. I was in a hurry this morning, so for breakfast I had a string cheese and 3 slices of turkey bacon. I brought a taco salad with me for lunch (my favorite!). I haven't fully decided about dinner yet, but it will most likely be seasoned chicked and broccoli.

I actually weighed in at 130.4 this morning, which was down from the day before. I'm excited about my daily decrease! My workout plan for tonight will be 1 hour of pilates.

Best of luck to you!! I've just started for the second time as well. I just had a baby in August and I'm having trouble getting the weight off. I don't know if this is going to help me or not, but I've kind of been starting on a week of Phase 2 before jumping in to Phase 1. After all the "bad" food from the holidays I was worried I'd fail right away on Phase 1 and then just give up. So instead I went on Phase 2 this past Monday and I've been doing well. Next Monday I'll really "start" the diet and be on Phase 1. I'm hoping doing it this way will help me to succeed better in the diet.

Do you mind me asking how tall you are? My target weight is the weight you are right now & I'm thinking that perhaps I should try to go lower. Thanks!!

Well congrats on your wedding! I also am wondering as Little MamaMickey,your height my target weight is close to your current weight. The thing that helps me get through each days is on my days off trying to put together my meal plans (somewhat) it helps me from getting hungry and cheating. Well good luck
