Concussion Discussion
Well having a brain injury has proven bad news for my weight. I get a headache from exercising, so it's been a sedentary winter since my 11/06 fall. I've put on about 20 lbs. We all know how hard that it to lose again, so I'm discouraged. I've been to the doctor who had a huge panel of blood tests taken to check my thyroid and hormones, so maybe some help will come from that corner when we get those results back.
In the mean time, I'm stepping up the exercise as much as I can and watching what I eat. I guess getting over the brain injury has taken precedence over the weight loss effort. Maybe spring will bring some positive changes for my health and motivation.

If you get headaches exercising, and it’s often, drink more fluids while exercising and have a decent meal 1-2 hours before exercise for energy

I always have a hard time eating the right way in cold months vs summer months. Same with exercising. Hope you get better.

Hope you soon recover from your head injury. Good luck with the blood results too.
