Bad news about saturated fats - read it and think.
Hi all, I saw this study in MICE showing that if they ate more saturated fats they became more depressed and anxious. Also, they "voluntarily consumed more calories." I know humans and mice aren't the same - and when exactly do mice in the wild get a chance to eat a bunch of saturated fats - don't they live on seeds and .... I don't know what! So comparing humans to mice may be far out, but for anyone who is prone to depression and eats food high in sat fat to make themselves feel better, it COULD be making you feel worse!
