moogiemynes's Journal, 07 January 2018

A few weeks ago, I bought these candy molds for fifty cents. I go to the thrift store frequently to find treasures. They are seasonally out of date, but who cares? Each treat is about a tablespoon. Any similarly sized candy mold will do. I have others. Even an ice tray would do.

I posted the recipe publicly under the name "Tahini Fat Bombs" and developed it myself because I cannot have peanuts. One may add powdered cocoa if desired. Unlike other snacks from nuts to pork rinds, I do not over indulge on these. They satisfy.

Other people may lose weight on certain snacks, but those same snacks cause me cravings and weight gain. Some of my supplements had sugar in them. Others had rice flour or starchy vegetables. I feel better now that I got rid of them. Real foods, such as avocados, green leafy vegetables, and egg yolks from truly free range chickens provide the missing vitamins and minerals. I grow my own herbs and greens in pots, because I have no land. This summer, I am going to try small scale aquaponics.

The Ketogenic Diet makes my brain feel good.

Sounds great! The keto way of eating is doing wonderful things for my brain, and my body, as well. :) I'd love to get set up for aquaponics!

Apparently, I posted only ingredients. The recipe is easy: -Use low heat to melt 1/4 cup butter into 1/4 cup coconut oil. -Stir in 1/4 cup tahini. Watch for sticking. -Let cool for five minutes, then add stevia to taste. (I like two squirts of pure liquid.) -Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. -Optional: stir in a tablespoon of cocoa. Pour into molds and freeze for two hours. Pop out of molds, but keep refrigerated or in freezer. The ingredients melt at room temperature.
