Today was a very good day. I still need to eat the rest of my vegetables and I ate ham twice today because I didn't plan far enough ahead. I am proud of myself because I walked two days in a row. I know that's no big thing for those of you who are regular exercisers but it is great for me. I walked at the mall for 20 minutes. I still need to have some quick veggie treats to eat because my blood sugar was in the 80's before I walked and I only had almonds w/me to eat before I walked. My blood sugar drops between 10-50 pounds depending on how long and hard I exercise so I didn't want it to get too low. But almonds aren't on Induction so I need veggie snacks I can grab. I was in the car and I was afraid if I went home to eat I might not go back out and walk. So I guess I made the best choice I could. Each day though I try to make better choices. Tomorrow I will plan my meals better and if I walk I will eat an allowed snack before I go. Still haven't been able to break the habit of weighing every day.

I was on atkins for a year and half ! have you tried the flaxseed bread? its flaxseedgrounded , 1 egg and baking powder i think you could google it on the atkins.com site! it's a great way to get fibre and replace the bread missed by this diet! i use a lot of rhubarb too it's classed as a vegatable and with sweetner it's delious!as for needing a snack on the go try supermarker salad bar! hard boiled eggs and full fat may was always my favourite as well as the endulgance bars!im gonna eat all high carb foods this weekend and then try a week low carb!no sugar to boost my diet! good luck x laney x
