I never would have thought it would be so hard to stay away from the scale but so far so good - made my first attempt at cheese shell tacos - going to need some practice lol was pretty good need less cheese for thinner smaller shells.

So been reading about these ketosis inducing supplements any thoughts????

I haven't tried exogenous ketones yet. Is that what you mean by supplements? Wish I'd planned out starting keto the way you did. :-)

I'm not sure I've seen a bunch of stuff like instant ketosis it's suppose to get you into ketosis within a couple hours when you've started going keto or back into ketosis if you've eatin carbs - seems to be tons of different brands

Good effort ditching the scale ...Real losses will be there once a week. IMHO, I usually don't believe any loss unless it holds for 2 weigh ins.

I tried the Pruvit Keto//OS Max. I dissolved 1/2 packet of the Swiss Cocoa in LaCroix coconut carbonated water - taste is decent though not awesome. In conjunction with low carbs and higher fat consumption, it helped me break through a plateau. A side benefit was daily BM. I do believe the stuff helped me get into ketosis without meeting the strict Keto diet guidelines.

How do you make the cheese shell taco

Hey Mrs. Tuck the recipe is on dietdoctor.com but they are very simple you just shred the cheddar cheese and put the piles on parchment paper need to make sure the piles are round and level if they are too thick in the middle they are kind of goopey and hard to work with. Put them in the oven on the lower rack until they have browned all the way across need to be careful the edges will melt and cook faster so there is some close watching needed to catch them before they burn. Take them out of the oven, just a warning there is a lot of fatty liquid on the pan, then let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes and they will start to harden up while they are still pliable use a spatula to take them off the parchment and hang them to form, I used a couple of tongs resting on two cans to form them into the shape of a taco shell takes about 10 minutes for them to harden all the way. Hint a thinner layer of cheese is better and smaller circles are better....hope that helps
