Mal321's Journal, 03 July 2017

I don`t know what is going on with me as I`m not losing any weigh anymore. I know my weekends are heavy in calories but the rest of the week is in low calories diet. I was doing very well loosing 1kg per week but the last week I actually gained 0.3kg and I was eating and doing the same as the week before (I think).
I`ve just joined a gym which includes lots of workout classes and I hope it will help me to get to my goal.

Best advice: don't count calories, count carbs. Avoid as much as possible all grains, sugar and processed foods. You can feel full and satiated on protein, veggies and healthy fats. Weight loss occurs in the kitchen; not in the gym. Good luck!

It's probably water weight gain, especially if you've just joined a gym and started working out. When you use your muscles more than normal you create tiny tears in the muscle fibres and they swell with water as part of the healing process, which causes you to retain water. Or is it close to your time of the month? That's a real bitch for water weight too, I should know, that's what's happening to me right now.

it can also mean your gaining muscle. I just bought a scale that measure body fat composition. my body fat was at 19 when I originaly got the scale . I was dropping in weight then I to started to slow the weight drop. I checked my body composition. now I'm at 15% , so that tells me I have gained muscle mass. so I'm ok with that. hope this helps.

Same is just happening to me. I guess some extra activity and gym can fix that. I have been less active in the recent weeks so my weight loss has decreased. Goodlucks for you👍:>

Thanks for all the advice it`s been really helpful. You are probably right with the gym and water retention in the healing muscles. By the way, the bitch is coming soon so that may be another reason, he he! Many thanks
