If you learn to work on where you eat your food and at what time, you'll never be hungry. Oh and eggs are filling. :)

Weekends kill me. During the week I have a very set routine. If you look at my diet log you will see almost the same thing, every day for breakfast and lunch, then whatever I fix for dinner. Snacks are also scheduled. Come Saturday and Sunday all bets are off.

Yeah I tend to have a routine. And when that routine is messed up I get pretty mad. But I try and keep the same schedule for Saturday and Sunday. But started my new meal plan so we will see if I can keep the same schedule this weekend.

Poofwizard, that used to be my mind-set too, (as well as many others). I finally forced myself to come to the realization that there will ALWAYS be weekends. There will ALWAYS be a holiday, a birthday... I delve in even further by saying to myself, there will ALWAYS be fabulous food and desserts; they're NOT going away. It dawned on me that if you do the math (year of weekend days, approximately 103/ Holidays, about 30/ Family and friends' birthdays, ??) I got the feeling I was sabotaging myself...had to change the way I felt about a day printed on a calendar.

Poofwizard, Have you seen the challenge "operation weekend watch"? Lots of people have joined.

I will look into "operation weekend watch". Today I was good. Had my traditional PB&J lunch. Problem is getting family to not complain about me not fixing "real food" for breakfast and lunch ... because it appears that not only my wife is lost in the kitchen (which I have known for over 25 years) but my 17 year son is too.
