Happy Valentine's Day to all...

I don't have a valentine so this year all of you can be my valentine if you want. It's mostly a made-up holiday anyway, to sell cards and candy and flowers. But enough about that.

I made it to the store yesterday and got my pantry stocked with good, healthy stuff. I made spaghetti last night using my lower fat version that uses ground sirloin as the meat instead of sausage or ground chuck. I made a ton of it so part of it can go in the freezer for later.

Today is day one of my two back to back days at Segunda Vida, the thrift store that Nomad runs and that keeps me employed part-time. I always get plenty of exercise working this job, there is always a lot to be done. Tomorrow it's back to the gym and I am looking forward to it.

I have to go look at a house on the way to work that I was referred to for a painting estimate, it's very close to my house so that will be good.

The weigh-in for week two of BLN (Biggest Loser-Nomad) will not be tomorrow as is usual, but this Saturday at a member's house that is hosting a healthy pot-luck. So I have a few extra days to get a my numbers down! :-)

Morning Auntie..Will you be my Valentine??..I have to agree with the card thing..and they start a month early on the commercials to remind everyone that it time to send a card..or buy a gift or take that special one out to eat..we are constantly bomb barded with (give me your money) ads..LOL..Enjoy your day...:O)

Happy Valentine's Day to you to AuntieJan x Hope you have a good session at the gym. I have been exercising with weights at home recently, but today opted for the gym for a change. It was great - went on the rower and then pushed some weights. I had forgotten how good it makes you feel :-)

Hi Skinny, I am going to be a good girl and hit the weights too. It does make you feel good, both mentally and physically and I especially need the mentally part at the moment. Have a wonderful Valentine's!
