So yesterday was a wonderful Birthday. I weighed in and I'm back under 250 - ha take that strained back! Every year I usually start my b-day with a bowl of Lucky Charms and then lounge in bed all day, but not this year. This year I have hope and have worked hard to change my eating habits to control my sugars and it's working! My Keto WOE is doing everything I hoped it would. This year I am 55 and eligible to retire, this year instead of waking up to sugars 130 or above I woke to an 82. This year instead of laying in bed and reading, I went for a walk In the sunshine (singing). Don't care what people think, I know I have an awful voice, but I like to sing. I made up a few dance steps too, other people walking laughed, however as I said, I do not care what anyone thinks. :-) I got my hair, mani/pedi and a hot stone massage, then went to a great dinner. I did cheat a bit, but it was a special circumstance and I knew I would, so I planned my day around it. I didn't stray too far. I know a lot of people dread their b-day, but I consider it a personal holiday and this year the celebration is better then ever.
