Haven't written in a while..Hit an new low and then bounce up 5lbs...Reality head me over the head..Family matters,depression,getting too lax on some things..I think mainly I was tired of being stalled at the border for so long..Too much peanut butter and almonds and low carb foods,enough to put in out of ketosis.ANY WHO.......No more excuses...

I have since ordered,received and read and re-read DADR and have started in week one.Even bought the ketostix and as of last night it still had no color..Starting day 3 and constipated.Started taking 500 magnesium twice a day..Will be glad when it starts to work.On a good note I was down 4 lbs this morning so hoping it hold till weigh in Fri.

I haven't read anyones journal in some time.I hope to have time to change that soon.Until then..

Helewis,,It's suppose to help with constipation problems. (think milk-of-magnesium)never could take that stuff..:)

Karen, DADR is really hard after eating so far up the food ladder of NANY,but I think I went up too fast and going back to induction didn't seem to help.All I was able to do was maintain for 4 months.Then I started to slowly gain again.I decided to try the orginal Atkins and follow exactly. So far so good but its really tough..I really miss my huge everything in one bowl salads.If I can make it this week it should get better.. nonna

Very interesting. My trainer mentioned it in relation to my doubling up on spin classes. I find the whole vitamin & mineral thing so daunting. Another question for my nutritionist. Thanks.
