I went to another Weight Watchers meeting this morning with a friend who didn't want to go alone. It was fun. I like the Leader much more than when i go. Just for grins and giggles I weighed in when she did, and I'm still 118 lbs, with a BMI of 22.3 The Leader did a reassessment of my weight goals. She told me that going as low as 105 lbs (I'm pretty short) is suitable for my size, but I told her that 114 is where I want to be. i have a physically stressful job, I need a little bulk to carry the muscle! Plus, I don't want to look ill or anything! I'll just be happy when the stomach rolls are gone. OK, well, I have to figure out when i'm going to work out today. I'm baby-sitting an infant and you know how sporatic they sleep! I forgot what I got myself into!! have a good day all you dieters out there!!! ps...take a look at my blue team duck in a little racer boat! How fitting is that??

Are you in the biggest loser competition here? If so, how are you doing in it? I think it's awesome that you're listening to your body and what you need to be healthy and fit! Bravo for you!

yep, i'm a Blue Team competitor baby!! I'm definitely not going to swing the odds in our favor with the remaining 4 lbs to lose, but i'm sure gonna make a small dent in our progress as a team!!! :) thanks for the comment! by the way, I really don't like this new format on this site!! I cannot keep up with any of my buddies any more or offer support to anyone new who might be in need. What the heck! I almost wish that I never knew it the way it was before!!

Your BMI sounds terrific! You know your body best! If 114 is where you want to be then that's what it shall be! =) Weight Watchers is a great place to be for motivation! I lost about 30 pounds at WW a few years ago. I think I got burned out, though, and ended up joining Curves instead. The thing I liked most about WW was the weekly recognition of acheiving a goal! I always got rather emotional whenever someone lost 5, 10, or more pounds and everyone clapped for them! It's not easy dropping weight! It's a rather victorious feeling to lose weight! In fact, to me, it seems controlling what goes into our mouth is one of the hardest things there is! It requires a decision each and every time. We have to decide if it's worth it or not. Often times the taste buds win!
You can do it! Just remember the great motto: Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
Go for it!!!
