I spent the day yesterday reading the South Beach Diet. It looks pretty good. I decided to switch diets. I bought Laughing Cow cheese, sugar free jello, hummus, ricotta cheese, ready made South Beach Diet salad, South Beach dinners and all kinds of stuff that I have never had before. The only problem is the low fiber content in the menu. I guess I could always take fiber pills if this bothers me. I have a lot of pomegranates in the house because I just bought a basket full, and I can’t see throwing them away, because I love them and you can only buy them at this time of year, and they are expensive. So I wall eat one a day until they are gone. It'll be hard giving up fruit, but I'm ready to go!

I am chewing celery like its chocolate, maybe that would help? Anyway, welcome and let us know if there's anything we can do for you. This is a great support community here and I personally LOVE this diet, lost 10 pounds in 10 days, staying 100% committed. If I can do it, anyone can. Welcome Gug, There are a lot of veggies out there with lots of fiber which are ok on Phase 1. Good Luck!
