YeeHaw! Two more days till I'm off for Christmas break. I'm so excited!

I got on the scale today and weighed 249.8 pounds. I'm under 250! My goal was to reach 250 by the end of this year. I guess I'll have to set a new goal now. I think 240 by the end of the year. Well see.

I love orange tic tacs. If I didn't have those to suck on, I would go crazy.

Tomorrow, I promised myself to sign up at LOA and start working out. I really can't wait to. I'm anxious to see how my new, lighter self will handle the equipment and the treadmill. I may even try the stair step thing. I don't know, my knees are still pretty iffy.

I resisted the cheeseball with chocolate chips in it (actually that didn't even sound good!) today at work. I gave my piece of candy that was attached to a card to my co-worker , and I ate a healthy dinner with chicken and a huge salad, an itty bit of mashed potatoes and green beans. It was all very good and I'm stuffed even though my calorie count for today is not even at 1200 yet. I'll have to have a snack.

I had the nurse at school take my blood pressure today and it was 123 over 72. I think that is really good! It use to be 158 over 83-90. My heart rate during the day wasw 63. If you don't have the Instant Heart heart rate app, get it. It's awesome and accurate.

I'm in a great mood tonight! I hope everyone is happy and looking forward to the holidays.

My daughter is home from college and I'm going to go watch a movie with her. Ya'll take care.

Welcome to the world of "less than 250". It's a whole new life opening up for you - and will KEEP opening up for you! Remember to take small steps forward at the gym. Don't strain yourself. Take a day off in between. DO you get a coach or will you be on your own? Make poke around online and find some advice.

I was walking 2-3 miles a day before the weather got bad and it got dark early. I want to do just what I have to do at the gym. 30-45 minutes of walking, spinning, cardio. Hopefully, I'll find what works for me but I'm going to take it slow although I do plan on going at least 4 times a week minimum. Thanks for you comments, it makes writing more fun!
