Ahhh. So glad the day is over.

Today at school we had a pot luck in the library. How exactly do you record a pot luck meal on the food diary? I did the best I could but who knows. I enjoyed the meal but didn't do any damage. I'm ok about it.

I have been weighing every morning. I weigh after I pee and when I'm naked. I figure every bit helps. :) It's almost a superstition. When I weigh, I refuse to look down until I'm sure the scale has settled on the wieght. Then I squint one eye and bend over a little and look down. Always so thankful when it's either the same or gone down.

I had several people come up to me at school today and tell me I was looking good. I love that and at the same time it's a little scary. I love it because it feels good to have other people see the difference in me. The obvious loss of weight but also I'm happier, my eyes sparkle again and that shows. It's scary because I am now the inspiration for quite a few people. What if I plateau? What if I start to lose weight slower or worse...stop losing at all...or even worse...gain it back.

Then, I get this weird feeling that some of the people that were origiannly happy for me or not so much now. I don't know, it's just a feeling.

My goal for the rest of this week is to keep my calories to 1200ish a day. Then between 1500-1800 for the weekend. Like I have said before, we like to eat out on the weekends.

Things I have noticed today:

I am definately moving around better at work.

Standing for long periods no longer causes numbness down my leg or my lower back to hurt.

I can sit down with a group and eat sensibly.

Eating tips:

Fill up on the low cal stuff, but still allow some of higher cal things

Drink a lot of water before, during and after a meal

Cut your food into itty bitty pieces and eat slow

Take ALL the compliments, please. They're all yours! If you plateau, there are ways around that. Been there, fixed it. Take a peek in my bio. About recording the pot luck - I generally try to break everything down, and register it as honest as possible. Sure, there's (quite) some work in it, but I see no other way of doing it. I hope it helps.
