I think wheat along with sugar are the enemy for moi. I started at 298 on the Up/Down diet. I lost 12 to 286 in six weeks. Switched in May. I was steady at 2000 cal. a day (pkg. food)and lost nothing for a whole month. I didn't diet in June but didn't gain. I started again on July 5th. This time it was Atkins/20. I did 6 days on and Sundays off. I went from 286 down to 268. I'm switching to Veggies and Fruit for 4 weeks and then back to Atkins/20 just to see what happens. If I lose then I'll know it was the wheat and too much packaged food; not carbs themselves.
There are good carbs and bad carbs.
