I'm glad the massive 10 lbs I gained last week are slowly coming off, phew! I've noticed that since April I've been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs over and over... It's starting to get annoying, I'm starting to question myself about diet longevity. I wish these 40 lbs would magically disappear but they won't without effort. I have pin pointed the reason for the gain- stupid munchies late night! I have to peace out and refresh my mind again so I continue the weight loss. I must burn incense and meditate, I'm in need of spiritual diet guidance!!!!!

That's Ok, but I think it is good to evaluate how your diet is going for you. I know you want to succeed, and sometimes we need to evaluate within ourselves. I like the incense. I was kind of a hippie in the old days too. Would listen to Bob Dylan endlessly, and wear my Beatles boots. lol I wish I had an old picture. I will look for it. It is good to be spiritual.

Smarty, sometimes we lose our focus and it is difficult to regain it, one of my ways to regain focus is to go back in time to the beginning of my journey and read my journals to remember where I was at in my head when I started, going through the first flushes of success reinforces things. Learning from our past is important, memories fade and nostalgia sets in and all we remember are the good parts. Sometimes you have to relive the struggle to recapture the essence of your original resolve.

It sounds like you may have hit maintenance calories? I did that when I first hit about 200 pounds. Then I realized i didn't need the calories that had supported the 30 pounds of fat if just lost. It was... Disheartening.

I've done the late night binges too. Honestly I don't think calories after dark should count, but apparently they do.

LOL! ya think? Smarty, that's why I like the IF..I have a set eating window, I fill up during that window and there is just no room for anything further, hubby adopted it too and now I don't have to sit here an watch him snack all evening too :)

Lol Northernmusician... If calories after dark didn't count, we'd all be so skinny!! That was the funniest comment I've read in awhile!
