DietBet payed out this morning; $42. And I'm a bit disappointed - I was hoping for a bit more. But on the bright side (of my stingy arse :-)), it means more people reached their goals and therefore the pot had to be split in so many more ways.
And on the plus side: I lost weight and was paid for it. I really shouldn't complain 😄

But so, I'm gonna use my winnings to enter again on Monday so I can reach my May goal of 61kilos!!

I'm also training for a race mid June. And my body is taking a bit of strain... Now that I'm thinking of it, it might be that my protien intake is actually way too little (hubby made pasta dishes to last us all week 😝). So, I think I'll bake some chicken frikkedelle today for fillers!!! (Google: Jamie Eason's turkey meatloaf muffins and check the video out! I replace the chipolte with chillies. Really GREAT recipe packed with everything needed for weightloss and muscle recovery! Plus they freeze well!)

Anywho, I'm training for a 15km race that I want to run in 70mins flat. I get scared everytime I think of it!! But reaching high is why we try!
I did a 5km Time Trial last night on the treadmill in 27:22mins and am sooo pooped this morning. Muscles are stiff and all I wanted to do last night, was fall down and sleep!!
All I know is, I gotta pick up my game and get going! The race is just over 6 weeks away. And I still have a long way to go!
Plus, my running buddy's back from holiday and she's gonna wanna go fly over that tar!
Scared but ready!!!
Deep breath!! LET's DO THIS!!!
