very busy morning today....had to do a majority of the cooking for the week today so i made veggie soup, beer cheese bread (atkins of course), jalapeno cheese and bacon quiche, and atkin's chili. phew....now i am cleaning up and heading for a nap....didn't get to do the laundry i wanted to do, but at least my hubby will be on-plan while i am working! i tend not to cook when i have to work nights...but these recipes are easily reheated.
on another note: i am 2 oz from my original goal wgt!!!! i adjusted my goal weight last week to 150 lbs from 155 lbs. i can't believe how well i have done on this plan. although, i have to say, i am a very devoted atkins follower to the point of being extremely obsessive compulsive about it. a few cheats here and there...like the bite of chocolate cake at work, a couple of skittles that danny (my youngest) wanted to feed to me, and a few gold fish crackers. all in all i think i have done well. i am so proud of my husband, though! he is down to 250 lbs from 271 lbs!!! he is working so hard at it too! he looks amazing! heck i look amazing! i haven't looked like this in many many many years! i have a wedding i am going to oct 22nd and i hope to be at goal weight by then! if i am, i think i won't have to buy anything new to wear! i will be able to wear something right out of my closet! and since i haven't worn any of those skinny clothes in YEARS it will feel like something new! horray! well off to bed! xxoo melanie
