Addie Aline's Journal, 07 February 2016

I had a busy day yesterday and that's always good for me. My back is still hurting I used my table last night but I think it's going to take several days in a row before it lets up and then a better matiance routine than I've been using.

I didn't eat as well as I should have last week, I ate way to much cheese and I know I can't loose eating cheese it just doesn't work for me. So cheese is out for me for a long while. I'm making a slow cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken today. I haven't made it before so I hope it's good.

Does anyone know if raw honey is allowed on LCHF? I think probably not, I'm asking because it is good for allergies if you use local raw honey. I have sever allergies and being in southern AZ their active year round almost.

I can do this one day at a time because I want it and I need it!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend

Well I'm trying to decide if I want let myself have a couple of LC beers during the Super Bowl since I'm not having any kind of pizza not even my home made LC pizza muffin, I guess I'll just wait until that time to see.

Honey itself is not off limits, regardless of the source, it's the amount of carbs you eat... If you can figure out how to eat 10g of of honey 3x/day and have virtually no other source of carbs you'll be ok. It won't be as good as not having it, but if you can work the macros in, you'll be ok.

I use it and count the carbs. I have it in my tea at night just enough to taste... carbs make me sleepy.

Thanks for your input. What I really wanted to do is use a teaspoon of raw local honey to help with my allergies but I don't want anything to slow me down I'm going slow enough.

I agree with frosty. Eat the honey, 1T. I used to do one with every cup of green tea I had which was four. Now I just drink it plain. The tea that is. I also like a tablespoon with fage 0% and walnuts with two blocks of Lindt excellence 85% extra dark chocolate. Yum! Anyway, I have asthma bronchitis whatever it is and use an inhaler at times so the honey does help with that.
