chels21's Journal, 17 May 2024

At the mid-end of April, I started a no pop challenge and it's been going good. BUT. I realized I totally forgot to log the weight I was at when I started which was 370lbs. I'm still doing well with it, and I stepped on the scale yesterday and discovered I lost 10lbs!! I'm so happy about that but kinda bummed I can't see it on the reports here.
Hubby and I have a key for the gym now so we can go in before work and get a workout in. we're also buying more veggies and fruits instead of chips and candy. he even stopped drinking pop too! (this is HUGE for him, it's all he would drink) and for extra motivation, we've been watching "My 600lb life" and "1000lb sisters". When he realized we were half way to their weights, he was upset to say the least. hopefully we can keep on track and hit our goals! I've set 10 lb milestones up to try and keep me motivated. I would ideally like to lose 150-200lbs but it'll take some time.
360.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 140.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wonderful!! Elimination of any vice is so hard! Your amazing!! I find the 600lb life a very energizing show for myself AND a check to ensure that I’m NOT slipping like they have in the beginning of their journeys!! Keep smiling and always know that a slip is just a quick movement to the next meal to do better! 🤗
