Skparker's Journal, 06 November 2015

I've been trying keto again (thanks to a new guy I'm dating who is doing the same and is very supportive) and I'm seeing that it works! By golly my weight it going down slowly! It's a good feeling. As they say on Reddit, KCKO (Keep Calm, Keto On)! The cravings for chocolate and sugar are going away too!

The next issue is going to be tackling Thanksgiving. I know I'll just pile on the turkey, but what else can I eat that's low carb? I've been asked to make stuffing for a "Friends-giving" that we have each year, and I guess I'll just make it normally and not try to cater to myself.

What is your plan for dealing with Thanksgiving?

You can't go wrong with an antipasto tray, roasted turkey, and mixed nuts. Make the stuffing like you would before you made the switch and enjoy watching your friends indulge. Staying on track isn't hard once you're resolute in your decision not to stray.
