Hi Robin, my experiment lol. A tuna salad and a fruit salad, but I added some cayenne pepper to the fruit to give it a slight kick.

@RobinHendershot; I need to hide all the carbs in the house. That's such a great idea using the lettuce.

When I use pasta I use the brown rice pasta that is gluten so I’m trying to reduce the carbs and fat and raise up my protein levels

Hi Robin, I purchased wheat pasta yesterday, I'm gonna look for the brown rice pasta. Thanks for sharing. Yes I'm terrible with my proteins. I have to try more fresh natural proteins instead of the protein shakes..

@Marlene RM, I’ve been looking at the pure protein bars, they have 20grams of protein and 2 grams of carbs

I've been earching for ideas to make my own bars using lentils, chickpeas, peanuts, and almonds. I'm making an effort to avoid sugars. diabetes runs in the family. I'm fine so far, but I need to put in a lot of effort to avoid or prolong it
