As I figured, the original spurt of loss at the beginning would die out and it has. No loss between last week and this even though I stayed pretty much on plan. Not discouraged, just disappointing. I may drop my caloric intake and see if what that does next week.

Keep going! Are you using the foodtracker? I started avoiding dairy and having my carbs intake below 25g. Try to exercise a bit more. I'm stuck with my weoght too. But now my problem is cholesterol levels.. I'm Banting in a light way - no high cholesterol food...
My husband lost 11 kg in 2 months... so don't lose faith!

I can relate. Pat on the back for moving forward anyway.

It's normal to lose a "spurt" as you said at the start, then it slows down. Losing weight is a marathon, not a sprint....hang in there with it. I found over time that I'd tend to lose several pounds more quickly, then slow down as my body adjusted to things, then I'd start to lose more after that period of adjustment. I don't know what your physical activity level is but if you can kick it up a notch that helps too.
