HafPaf's Journal, 23 October 2015

I'm too scared to weigh myself!! I know I last weight really quickly last week so I'm worried I packed it all pack on. I'll weigh myself later this evening.

I've been working like crazy at the office - clocking 2am week days with my team and no time for the gym.

Plus I'm religious fasting today until next week Friday.
This is a dry fast which means no liquids which means no coffeeeee which means no poweeerrrrr. Which means little energy for running and working.
A Dry Fast:
Every day is a 24 NO consumption of anything! Nothing passes your lips!
I guess my body needs a reset so maybe this fast will help clarify things.

I've just got to keep my night meals nice and clean-lots of veggies and eggs :) i hope noone feels nervous about the weekend food vibe coming! have fun! I made mini gluten free mocha cheese cakes last night and I'm sure as he'll having one later today :)

HafPaf I'm not sure if you know the basics to weighing yourself so I'll explain it to you. You must always weigh yourself early in the morning about 30 minutes to an hour after waking up. Use the toilet 1st to relieve yourself. Choose the same day every week to weigh yourself to be able to have a proper observation of your weekly weight because your weight will fluctuate during the week. By weighing yourself later in the day you are heavier because of whatever u consumed for the day. Your muscles will do work like walking so they can be heavier later in the day due to holding onto some water. I weigh myself every Thursday morning about 30 mins after waking up and using the toilet. I choose Thursday mornings because my Wednesday is a fast day and it is far enough away from the previous weekend. I have found that my weight actually drops by 100g to 200g just by having a bath! Weird but it happens. I still weigh myself during the week just for curiosity and I see my weight going up by 2kg at times so that is why you need to keep a standardized approach to weighing yourself or you will drive yourself nuts and get mislead by the scale. Hope this all makes sense :)
