*Sigh* Well it's better than yesterday! I was up by 13 pounds the day after Christmas! I went overboard and ate everything in sight, plus some stuff that was hidden! I baked yeast rolls...thought I could handle it...I was wrong! I logged the actual meals, did not log the zips through the kitchen grabbing another roll and stuffing it with ham...there was 2 people and 12 rolls...rolls were all gone! Then the pie, then the ice cream...hunted down hubby's stash of M&M's to put on the Blue Bell Rocky Road. What I did log was LOADED with sodium so I swelled up like a balloon. Thankfully a tanker full of water yesterday flushed a lot of that away, seems like I woke up every 15 minutes last night to go to the bathroom! Since I still can't remove my rings. There is still more to flush. It was a great meal! All of our favorites! The steady deluge of rain kept us and the dogs inside for most of the day and we spent the day eating and the dogs spent the day chewing on their Christmas presents! Kongs for the big dogs, Nyla antlers and Lamb Chops for the littles. I was going to attempt a fast, it's a no-go, the carb overload has my body screaming for food. Leftovers have been frozen, I may have to do a sardine fast to get back into ketosis and keep tanking up on the water till the swelling goes away. I don't know what I was thinking with the baking of the rolls, I created a portable, edible plate for grazing and graze I did! Now it's damage control! Ya'll have a great day!!!

I would try to role play, but even on my bitchiest days....I could not manage that type of hatefulness!!

Oh those carbs. Those evil carbs. Like crack they call! In the past i have thought.. I can handle it. But no more. I know I can't. So. You enjoyed yourself. Time to detox and start over. You can do it.

Debra don’t freak out and blame carbohydrates ! You have been incorporating the “healthier” carbs slowly and gradually with no adverse weight or health issues for a few weeks. Even positive to your health as you mentioned recently. Even people like me who eat a substantial amount of “healthy “ carbohydrates daily when we veer off into excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and sugars (cinnamon rolls, baklava, and things I have not mentioned on FS ) see the same inflammation and weight bounce up. If your intake was coming off a fast that’s a double whammy. The worst thing you can do is cut all carbs all together because the rebound and blowback can be difficult to reverse. There is a balance to what is healthy ( and they have many nutrients ) and where certain types of carbs we need to keep focused on limiting in controlled amounts. Stay strong !

LOL! I use that as a blanket term Honeebuns! The brown sugar and marshmallows I put in the sweet potatoes did the damage, not the sweet potatoes, the bread and the stuffing were major triggers for me, I could have done alright with a small portion of the sweet potato casserole like I did for Thanksgiving, at Thanksgiving I by-passed the bread....I did have a cookie, but it was stuffed in my mouth by a baby and it was after we had filled up, and we were at someone else's home, so I had a few manners. Can't let the neighbors watch you totally pig out right? At home, doing the cooking, the anticipation built. The bread was just as good as I imagined it would be while smelling it cooking! It's just us....the forks flew. I'm not blaming all carbs for the temptations of bread, sugar, ice cream and candy. There was also a lovely brown sugar glaze on the ham...plus all that salt....it will come off and I am only banning sweet potatoes till next year...which is in two days 🤣🤣🤣
