Good Chilly Morning FB Warriors! It was 46 here this morning up two degrees from yesterday so we are heading into a warming trend 😁 High today Sunny and 70, absolutely perfect! Today ended my 84 hour fast, I did not drop as much as I usually do. I believe that is because of my knee I re-injured on Sunday while mopping the floor. It killed out my bike rides and my walks, I did do my weights (upper) and my yoga stretches, less the left leg stuff, but other than that a lot of sitting with ice, ibuprofen until time for work.....standing for long periods does not bother it as long as I don't lock it while it's supporting my weight, when I do that it does not want to bend without a lot of cussing! 🤬 It's getting better, I just need to make sure I wear non slip shoes at my next mopping, flip flops are not safe footwear for wet floors! So that is my week in a nutshell, no other drama occuring in my life at the moment. I hope the same for you guys....unless drama is something you enjoy! Have a great day!

Debra, six hours a day working out? That’s iso unsustainable. Have you had a full lab work up done? Im wondering if you may have some issues affecting your metabolism like i do? Or could just be years and years of up and down on the scales which does cause damage to metabolism also. I would go up or down 20 pounds since i was in my 20’s but i was thin so i went from thin to healthy weight and back down but still the 20 pounds or so messing with metabolism. It’s frustrating right? And then the slowdown that occurs naturally just due to age. I see some gorgeous girls on here my age who appear to be about as active as myself an are maintaining at 2000 calories a day and im so envious. Cuz i get hungry and sometimes hangry😂. Shoot, hope you get to feeling perfectly wonderful soon. Xoxo

YOH, that was 35 years ago, way before the things we know now. Even back then on WW, you had 4 to 5 servings of grains per day, low fat, so ate fat free everything, when they removed the fat they replaced it with sugar....so yeah with my issues with sugar and grains, that is how much I had to work out to drop 100 lbs in a year and I kept eating on plan for several years afterwards, but I had gained it all back in less than a year when I could not do that level of exercise. That's why I know that simply reducing portions of sugary, starchy, grains and seed oils is not something I can consume and lose weight. Been there, done that, had the willpower and determination to succeed, did not cheat.....and it failed in spite of all my effort. I have done it 4 more times since on different diet plans, but with the same baseline way of eating....CICO low fat portion control and exercise it simply does not work for me. I have to leave off all grains, sugars, artificial sweeteners and starchy veggies to see results, and after this last off the rails episode in 2020-2022. I have to accept that they can NEVER again be a regular part of my diet.

I have had every test under the sun, I have normal everything, actually my Doc said I have the blood profile of a much younger person. She said I am a perfectly healthy obese woman. Hormones, thyroid, lipids, nutrition as far as the Alphabet vitamins are concerned. In recent years I have had low Vitamin D...corrected, low potassium, corrected and low magneisum...still working on that.

O wow what a journey. Magnesium—-do you take any? I drink magnesium nightly before i go to bed and that seems to do the trick. I use the moon juice variety available on their website or amazon if you are interested. Keep on truckin sis. You will get back to where you want to be before you know it. Look, it’s already nearly Halloween then Xmas then Valentine’s Day and voila you will be there. That’s how i had to think all last year because i felt like it was such a slow journey at the time but now i think it went quickly.
