Baby steps... one at a time...

So I just wanted to share an achievement... it might not sound like one, but in contrast to last week, it's HUGE!

So I went to the mall and bought Purdy's chocolates (this is where you're thinking, success??).

Success #1 - I only bought 5 chocolates (last time I went, I bought a box of 20 thinking I had self control... HA! that was a joke!)

Success #2 - Before I proceeded to eat all 5 chocolates, which I knew I would, I adjusted my dinner - removing the rice and increasing the amount of green beans so I'd be full. This allowed me to be under my set RDI of 1,900 calories. Last week, I would have just gone over my RDI and hoped to reduce calories later.

This week, I'm staying focused on the small successes.

I must be tired or something because I read "...and lady that is success in my boobs..." Oh dear. Boobs aside, I would consider the menu rearranging & willpower a much bigger success than you do. It's the little modifications we make to our everyday choices that get us closer & closer to our goal! You rock dude.

That's good thinking. I'm making my dinners more diverse by decreasing the quantity of starches and adding in more greens &/or fruit. I have to be careful, but the results have been pretty positive.

Wow congrats on that! I agree with kstubblefield, the rearranging and planning, is a huge accomplishment. Way to go!
