nice 👍 did you park off 80 and take the red dot trail up and make your way over from there or start down along old mine rd and go up

IslamicUmmah I'll answer that question lol you can fish there but your not going to catch anything and if you do its going to be a super tiny sunfish. this is a spring fed glacial lake that is highly acidic and pretty much all you can catch is seriously stunted small sunfish.  

Wow, geeze thank you for all your kind words. I am kind of embarrassed because I did not think this would post. I was determined to hike the AT trail to Sunfish Pond, it is a pretty rocky trail up and down but I did it several Thanksgivings ago and was feeling like giving it a try since I am feeling better now that I dropped a few pounds and am getting exercise. Thank you all for the encouragement, you helped me up the mountain, not going to lie, could have used some more help down it LOL! Happy Thanksgiving all!  

@otb123, took the white trail I think, it starts at the Dunnfield Creek parking lot along 80 and stays to the left of the river all the way. 

@ginome yes, headed out for a hike with little preparation and a bit of hard headed determination.
