Sexynonna - sometimes you just have to eat bacon! One good thing about this diet is that when we have cravings we usually find something to eat to satisfy them. Am sure you'll flush that water weight in no time.

Nonna, I LOVE bacon. My favorite salad is a BLT....I use take that salad, top with bacon and chopped tomato, and drizzle homemade Hidden Valley Ranch on it....droool (in my best Homer Simpson impersonation). You know that shirt that says I eat ketchup on my ketchup....well, mine should read I eat bacon on my bacon....yummo! So I keep it in the freezer and try to limit myself to one pound a week or less. Luckily it has gotten so expensive that it isn't hard to do anymore! lol The smell of fresh baked bread...just the thought of that smell makes the salivary glands go into overdrive. But, like you, I can bake and not eat these days. Thank goodness! Have a great day and enjoy your baking!

You sound like my hubby. I try to limit my bacon to a couple, three slices when I cook up a pound. Then DH manages to devour the rest so there are never any leftovers.

I live close to a meat packing plant. When they smoke the bacon.....needless to say I keep bacon in the freezer. One of my favorite foods.

Yah know, I was wondering why I was hungry for bacon, now I remember reading about it in your journal yesterday! LOL, I think you had enough for both of us (just kidding). I think I have to have me one of those BLT salads soon!! Plus, I am IMPRESSED that you can bake BREAD & not eat any! Hmmm, I wonder if I could ever bake bread in the first place, haha, LOL! I love to bake, but never tried bread; cookies, cakes, pies, etc. Bake away & have a great day!
