jessberry's Journal, 12 January 2015

In a previous journal entry, I wrote about how you can find a substitute for almost anything you may be craving... I was wrong. WINE, you absolutely cannot find a suitable substitute for a nice glass of wine. Someone, please kill me now, lol! I've been drinking hot tea at night with NACV, which is great, but def not the same.

Had a good day today... Trying to find a decent daycare to take my son to, because I'm going back to work part-time. Tomorrow we will go visit another one, hope it's the one! Although according to my son, we don't have to look anymore because he says he isn't going to daycare EVER! he's a sweet and funny little guy, but has def voiced his option on the child care issue! He won't even talk about... When my husband asked him about the one we saw today, he said "it doesn't matter because I'm not going", then he refused to talk about it anymore. It seems to be a sore subject for him! Poor little guy, I feel bad for him, but I think it will be good for him in a way. He's super smart, but very shy, so this should help him to open up a little more. I'm just thankful I don't have to work full time, so at least he's not there all day, every day.

Can you tell me a good substitute for chocolate? I crave nightly! :(

I get unsweetened cocoa powder and blend it with whipped heavy cream, or creamed cheese, and Splenda... Or you could get the atkins bars, but be careful if you do, they stall weight loss for some people. I like the Atkins chocolate shakes and they don't seem to bother me, but I try not to drink them too often.

I was a shy kid too and hated kindergarden. I hope he will find friends there, then he will be happy to go there everyday.
