BrandyRelaxing's Journal, 03 May 2011

Today I realized that apparently I do stress eat... I thought it was under control.

What made me realize it, was that I was out at client's all day, and generally had a good day and found that I only ate what I packed (despite the client site being next to a pizza place).

When I was at the office last week, where we have snacks and a Tim Hortons in the building, I always ended up around 2,000 calories. Stress at the office is pretty high. When I was out at the client, with less stress, I wasn't eating just to eat, but just eating when I was hungry!

It's definitely something I'm going to have to watch!

I understand the temptation. It isn't easy. I carry my own lunch with me (usually just a bar) and just eat that. It has not been easy sticking to it, with all the temptations around, but I have managed. The results have been extraordinary. It takes a lot of willpower, but the results are worth it.

Stress, and emotional eating, those are mine. It is a hard thing to break out of. There is usually always something really bad at my work as well, I honestly try to avoid the kitchen (I do have to walk through it to leave, and use the washroom, but I have been good so far. I see that you eat yogurt...if you like lemon try the Source desserts Lemon....o man what a treat! Good luck with the stress eating, you have realized that you do it and that is half the battle. I really look up to what you have done. And how far you have come. Very inspirational!!!

Thanks Jennifer! I feel like it's taking forever to lose weight, but if I slowly lose the weight, I'm hoping that it's going to stay off! :)
