Today's Measurement Report: 47 pounds lost to-date

----Since last report (Feb)....Since beginning Atkins (9/10)--

Bust ------ down 1/2 inch..........down 4.5 inches
Abdomen ----down 1 inch .........down 11 inches
Stomach --- down 1 inch .........down 13 inches
Hips ------ down 1 inch .......... down 10 inches
Thigh ----- down 1.5 inch......... down 8 inches
Arm ------- down 0 inches.........down 5.5 inches
Calf ------ down 1.5 inch..........down 2 inches

I've lost 8 pounds since the last measurement-report in Feb. I am remaining consistent with my eating plan, refusing to deter from the path which will lead me to success. While it is slow, I trust it will remain steady. I just began OWL this week and as a result, my stall is now out of the way! I lost three pounds in less than a week's time!! I continue to enjoy creating variety in our meal plan and creating new recipes or finding ideas which will contribute to our health and continued weightloss. I LOVE the Atkins-way and I know it will be a life-long commitment!

Great numbers, Evie! Glad you moved to OWL - most people report starting to lose again once they start adding carbs and move on. Who knows why? It's just what works! What foods did you start adding back?

Evie, I am so happy for you! Moving to OWL was JUST what you needed! That is terrific! I know my stall will break one of these days! Probably not this weekend...!! I hope your Easter is wonderful!

Stef, hello my darlin dear! Thanks!! Hope your Easter is blessed in every way! We're gonna have a special resurrection sunrise service at 7 and then breakfast on the grounds... We'll come home for a brief time and then return for the 11 am worship service. Looking forward to it! After that, we'll all go to my best friend's house for a special Easter feast! THANKS for asking about Jim! He is definitely on the mend. Still limping, but walking... The doc said it will be at least 4 more weeks until he feels himself again. thanks for your continued prayers, dear friend. It means so much!! <><

Hi Amethyst! Thanks for stopping by! I am glad I moved to phase 2, too. So far so good. Honestly, I was nervous - but chose to trust the science and do it anyway. My choice was to start with adding a greater number of foundational veggies, first. Will do that for at least a week or more and then I will add 1 oz of almonds a day to see how I do with that.

Hi Kyle!! thanks so much for sharing in my happy-day! Keeping my fingers crossed that your stall will break soon. I think we figured out a few things that will help..and you are SO close to your goal. I believe in YOU!

That's a great plan! I accidentally missed the "add more foundation veggies" step. Whoops.

Amethyst, what was your first week(s) like as a result? How'd you do?
23 Apr 11 by member: Evie1010
3 more pounds!!!SWEET! I now have a limping husband. We are on the way to the ER as soon as he finishes chores. He rolled his ankle on the step....I thought of you and Jim immediately even though I know it was Jim's knee. So please say a little prayer for Jeff... So proud of you my dear Friend! Great job this week.

Sherillyn, how's Jeff doing? Know that I am praying! I have history with many ankle sprains so I know how terrible they can be. Uggh - feelin for you both dear one. Keep me posted. <><

Congrat's on the new decade! And glad Jim is doing better, as well. I'm sure the stress that's been lifting has also helped with the weight loss. Good for you!
