I've decided that a diet is like a husband. You want the one you can picture staying with for life, and you don't want the one you feel the need to cheat on 😉
Last day of a five day weekend I took to get my mind right. Three days of cross country skiing and two of shoveling snow, so I feel good about my level of exercise. Got taxes filed, and although I'm a stress eater, my "binge" afterward was only a couple of tablespoons of pistachios and a modest amount of 90% dark chocolate. On to laundry!

Glad you liked the reference, ConfidenceMaven 😉 It really sums up my whole attitude on diet. In fact, my diet and I may actually be in an open marriage, since there's nothing I absolutely forbid myself. I try to make mostly healthy choices, but I feel no guilt whatsoever about the occasional donut 🍩
