Not weighing in today- I was up at 5 am and ate breakfast, then went to my studio and worked on the ornaments. I have to make small wire loop hangers for each one. I have about 40 to finish. Then bag them up. Then I went to the grocery store. There were some great prices on meat- and bought a turkey for 39cents/lb. The store offered a 11% off the total bill- in honor of Veterans Day. I saved 44 bucks! Since my monthly budget is less than $200 - it was awesome. We only eat about 3-4 ounces of cooked meat at supper. So, when they have those boneless, skinless chicken breasts - I snap them up. 6 half breasts weighed 5.45 lb. - they were huge. Anyway- I try so hard to keep meat in the freezer-the way things are going - who knows what lies ahead. I always check the ads of all the grocery stores close to me. I do make a list and stick to it. My hubby is the one who slides things into the cart that I do not notice- until we check out. He is slick at that. I am relaxing for a bit- enjoying my Hazelnut Iced Coffee - my treat for today. (((HUGS))) to all stay safe and keep healthy.
