Didn't weigh in today. Just feel so crappy, exhausted for no reason. I took a anxiety pill and took a nap slept for 4 hours. Then woke up CRAVING hot chocolate and I made a Big cup with marshmallow Fluff and some crackers and an apple- that was supper. Tomorrow is a new day and will get back on track. Adding "TO DO" items to my daily calendar- in hopes I get out of this funky rut I am in. I need to focus on the up coming holidays. Our neighbors have invited us to their home for Thanksgiving and I am planning on making a Jewish Apple Cake. We are not going home for Christmas for the second year in a row- It is a very hard thing to adjust to. But the bright side is-- my sweet loving grand daughter and her family are PLANNING on coming down. to celebrate Christmas with us. This is the best gift I could get!!!! Having the great grands kiddos here always makes my heart sing. Plus Grammy get to spoil them. The grand daughter is so close to me - I cut her cord when she was born and helped raise her for the first 2 years. She is more like a daughter to me. So excited.

Sometimes bodies do need a rest day. We both can pick up and move it tomorrow 😊

This is what I found out--The name Jewish apple cake likely came about because this cake is dairy free, and thus can still be consumed with meals containing meat (in accordance with kashrut). I love this recipe to make in the fall when the apples are so fresh.
