Ok -getting back to normal- guess I can't eat popcorn -to much salt. Going to have a family visit next week for 3-4 days. Looking forward to seeing my great grand daughter. She is a pistol for sure. Making her a birthday cake- with a doll in it and the cake is the skirt. We will be celebrating her birthday- since we don't get home. Have planned a tentative menu, for all nothing fancy-hoping we can do some grilling. So I'll be busy getting ready for them.
Made a quiche for breakfast- broccoli, mushroom, onion, yellow pepper with a little ham and swiss cheese. Served it with fresh pineapple. I am trying to reduce my salt-and it tasted flat. But it was good and I have enough for 3 more breakfasts. Hubs won't eat it-- oh well it's his loss. I like summer--but this heat keeps me inside. Plus the mosquitos just love me to death. Looking forward to cooler weather- so I can do some painting and make a mussel shell wreath. I am planning on working in my studio- it looks like a train wreak! This will keep me for eating and worrying about the heart catherization --sounds like a plan. I also need to fix my carousel horse- she needs a new base and some repairs. It helps to sub salt with other spices…I use a garlic herb blend & black pepper. Gives it kick without the high sodium. You’re doing great..enjoy your creative endeavors!!!
