jessberry's Journal, 20 March 2014

Made it thru the whole day without coffee (not by choice, I was out of cream), but thought I was gonna die! Bought cream last night, had a nice fresh cup this morning and feel soooo much better! I've been doing well with tracking my food, as long as I keep it up I think I'll do just fine. It's all just a matter of discipline and determination!

You should watch that cream. It adds calories that you really don't need. I quit using creamer and now use equal and skim milk in my coffee and have cut my calories there

As long as you are doing Atkins, some cream is ok...much lower carb that skim milk. I usually drink 1 sometimes 2 cups of coffee a day and if I miss it, I get the worst headache! You would think I was drinking more than that!

I completely respect your opinion Cyd69 about the creamer thing, but I have to say that you have to still live life and if that means having creamer in your coffee in the morning then do it. Keep up the great work Jessberry !!

Thanks everyone! SherrieC, I agree with you! Coffee is the one thing I can't give up, and the creamer (heavy whipping cream) is Atkins approved, so I feel that as long as I don't over do it, I'll be fine! But thank you Cyd69, any advice is always appreciated and comments keep me motivated :)
