Good Afternoon (and whatever it is in your country), FS Warriors! Up at 4:15 this morning because I didn't have to be at work early this morning. I had Management training that didn't start until 8:00, and it was about 20 minutes closer to home. Went down and sparred with Jillian this morning. I felt much stronger than yesterday, probably because of that extra 45 minutes of sleep. I decided to revert to my old run/walk program and take it up at about the same stage. There are longer rest breaks in between intervals, but the jumps are larger, in terms of time actually spent running, from one stage to the next. And there are no rest days until you get to 30 minutes of continuous running. I think I've got one more day of running for 3 min/walk 3 min (X5), then I go to run 5 min/walk 2.5 (X4). It's the way I've always gotten back into running before, and it just seems to work for me better.
Of course, when I walked into the training classroom, I was met with an abundance of pastries, fruit, juices, cookies and the usual fare. You would have been proud of me; I held off till about 9:30 or 10:00, and had a Special K berry bar of only 90 calories. Lunch was furnished and instead of having the creamed entres, I chose the sauteed veggies, and smoked turkey. I did well. Oh, BTW, I weighed in with only a 1/2 pound loss. A little dissappointing, but not totally unexpected. I've been at this 242.5 lb level for 4 consecutive days, which only means that I'm due for a dramatic drop in the near future; it will be a good way to start the first week of March.
Nothing earth shattering to share with you at this time. Getting ready to pack it in for the weekend. Here's wishing all my FS Friends a wonderful weekend. Stay warm. Toodles.
