Wiggyjp's Journal, 14 February 2021

Currently away in a hotel with work and due to the lack of use it’s freezing! Had heating pumping out all day and I’m still fully clothed in bed trying to heat up. How’s everyone’s Valentine’s been?

Best way to get through is just go to bed and sleeeeeep. I hope you’re warm enough. Lordy. And your breakfast had better be good!

Wingtip what type of yoghurt do you use on your Granola?

Sorry Wiggyip my spell check kicked in I wasn't being rude😄

I will run with wingtip 😂 Good question. It’s one from the hotel and it’s a Greek style one. I doubt it’s a mega low fat one or anything though

The reason I ask Wiggyip is I am trying to cut my sugar content and I use yoghurt to add moisture to oats but I find most yoghurt is surprisingly high in sugar

Chestnut, I’m told there is a really good diet Irish Yoghurt- Clonakilty- which is suitable for diabetics and therefore lower in sugar. Hope that helps! I’ve seen it in Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s.

I’d agree chestnut it will be high sugar but I imagine granola is also? If I’m doing it myself I use plain porridge oats and maybe sultanas and nuts like almonds for a bit more bite. Good shout as always from Lizzy too
