I'm back!!!
I've been away for a while because I've had exams and stuff, then I thought I could carry on on my own... I was wrong. Really need moral support. I've been healthy eating about the same but adding in exercise. This however seems to be doing nothing. Don't get me wrong I'm much fitter for it but my main goal was weight as in how heavy I am rather than how lean I look. I just want to be light to ride my Lucky pony :)
I'm doing the intermittent fasting diet, for no other reason than when I eat breakfast I have a morning snack and carry on whereas if I don't eat until 12 I'm not hungry my only problem is, because I know I can't eat after 8, when it gets to about 7 it's like shove everything on board before my deadline.
Another thing is I think I've been weighing myself too regularly, for instance today I weighed and I'd gone up from the previous day and it made me feel rubbish. I went for a run and ate ok but then just thought 'oh well non of it is working anyway why bother and finished off my bag of dried apricots and wasn't even hungry :(
Need some moral support and encouragement guys. Send your love my way, it will be very well received!

Welcome back! :-) I know I wouldnt be where Im at now without the support Ive found here. What kind of exercise are you doing? Im kind of inadvertently doing the IF as I almost never eat until around noon and usually stop eating by eight lol. Some people swear by it but my results have been the same both ways so I wing it from day to day. If youre not losing despite eating enough calories and working out regularly the next thing to look at would be your macros. Make sure youre getting enough protein and keeping the carbs down. I like to stay around one hundred grams of good complex carbs *give or take* and around eighty grams of protein. Theres no one size fits all guide to weight loss, just my opinions and what has worked for me. Glad to have you back, the more the merrier! :-)

I've been doing a weekly hiit class, which is awesome, and going out for runs in between the usual horse riding and occasional netball. Aah I think it could be my carb in take mainly because I eat so much fruit and it think that's probably not the best. Also protein is a bad one too because I don't eat meat at uni just because I can't afford it really. I'll need to eat more bean! Thanks so much for your support!

Some protein shake mixes are pretty affordable and last a long time too. Youre very welcome :-)

I'd pass on to you one of the first lessons I learned from FS and SBD: do not weigh too often. Allow your body to catch up with your diet plan and exercise. Especially now that you are still adding exercise and finding your comfort zone. FS is also my main source of motivation and support. The mere act of encoding my food intake and exercises does me a lot of good already. =) It also reminds me that "every choice counts" literally because every time I encode something, it adds up. Just keep your diet and exercise plan and your body will eventually catch up. =)
