My little girl has just started kindergarten(she`s 3.5yrs) and i have decided to walk there which will be 1.5h of walking 3 days a week(2 days every other week). She`s just learnt to ride a bike so she will be on that and the baby in the pram:). I think it will be fun and healthy for everyone and teach my children good habits. I love the kindy they are very strict with food, they can`t have any pre packaged foods,no sweets, chips, biscuits, muesli bars etc. I bake "daetschli"(swiss word) which is just alot of grated vegetables baked with egg and a bit of wholemeal flour! she loves them and thinks it`s a real treat:) I`m wearing my pedometer today to see the distance and how many steps it is to walk both ways. I`m also curious how many calories it will say i burnt compared to what fatsecret says. I will be more hungry with all the walking(can feel it already!!)plus i am still breastfeeding several times a day so i will eat enough to not go hungry but stick to healthy foods and still aim for a deficit.
