TXSnowman's Journal, 10 January 2011

Just returned from my frozen expedition. I arrived in camp just as the blizzard of 2011 hit. 72 straight hours of snow. Overnight low of 18 degrees below zero. Never got out of the teens for two weeks. Water was frozen. Powerlines down for three days. Ate crap and got almost no exercise for two weeks. Just another little speed bump on my way to my ultimate goal of a healthy weight. Have to work from 9 am until 10 pm today, but tomorrow I start back to exercise with more resistance training. We'll see how that goes. At least I don't have any lengthy trips planned until April 16th, so it should be easier to stick to the plan.

That sounds like a lot of no fun. At least I've been able to exercise while trapped at home during this period. It hasn't been as hellish here, but the city did shut down. I'd say you have a very positive attitude.
