gug's Journal, 01 January 2009

In between Christmas parties and New Years parties, I also had to go to a wake and funeral of my very loved aunt, my father’s sister. Life here has been crazy. I drank much of the wine and ate too many deserts, along with all the other wonderful food that I didn’t deny myself. I even skipped the gym several times. Tomorrow is my mother’s 89th birthday party. After this, I’m ready to get back on track for the New Year. Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year.

So sorry to hear about your aunt. As for the eating and drink, you're not alone! Many of us are in or soon to be in "recovery" from the holidays. Have a wonderful birthday party for your mom and a Happy New Year! Come join us in "recovery" afterwards!

So sorry to hear about your aunt. My sympathy goes out to you and your family. I'm in the same boat as you as far as not denying myself any goodies during the holiday season. We're going to start anew and get right back on track for the new year, Buddy! LET'S DO IT! :) Happy Birthday to your Mom! :)

My most heartfelt sympathy for your loss. The holidays proved to be a big challenge for me this year as well, and like you, I am looking forward to regular, healthy eating and meeting the challenge of daily exercise. Enjoy your Mother's birthday!
