ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

ok...lets see...last week..monday and tuesday were working the second job till 9 so got home around 930ish, wednesday and thursday i was home to actually cook dinner and do a little laundry, sweep the floors or whatever...friday i had to make a cherry pie and 48 deviled eggs, bought chips but made my salsa and a pumpkin pie for the first of 4 thanksgiving dinners on saturday...so date night had to wait until next week as i had to work saturday till 2pm since my assistant is in licensing class and i could not make them saturday am...

we had about 30 people at dinner so i worked but it was a pleasant work...there were always 3 or 4 people in the kitchen and the one person that i don't like showed up late so she wasnt in there that much...lol

i got to meet my new newphew - he is 5 months old, tan and black...he is a lab/shephard mix...the pics are not that good as he would not sit still for a picture...

Enzo...

i used a combination of the intuitive eating and the sb principals for saturdays dinner...while fixing the pies i only tasted once the fillings to make sure they were ok and when i made the eggs i tasted once but they are on both plans...when i actually felt a hunger pain i would eat a celery sliver with a little cheese ball on it or salsa on it...for dinner i took about 5 bites of each type of food and only ate about 3...i was very proud of me...serious self control...also had about 5 bites of my cherry pie...i use sour cherries...and 5 glasses of wine through out the whole day...so i was very happy with how i felt and the fact that i was not tired or "lazy" after dinner...

on sunday after church the person that i am working the audio jobs for asked if i would be wiling to learn a third program to make commericals and/or video's...of course i said yes...lol...the manuel is over 100 pages...go figure...but it is fun...the hubby just rolled his eyes...

so weight stayed the same will wait until wed to see if the dinner effected me...have a great HOLIDAY...[/color]

Good for you for staying on course w/the intuitive eating, Julieann! Ohh! The third program sounds exciting and a lot of work! DOn't kill yourself! Is it possible to start it after the holidays? Wishing you a great work-life balance... Go Mistletoe elves!

I don't know if I could have done that good. You sure have will power. I love deviled eggs and pumpkin pie.

lol WAY to GO on the control, girl!! NICE JOB! I am still debating on even what to cook! Hubby is SO TRADITIONAL and I'd like to try new, healthier things. So, I'll prolly just save myself the work and do the basics for him and try to be "good". I am the only one cooking, as we don't have plans or company coming, that I know of. Could be a couple of "drop ins", we'll see. Anyways, I'll be thinking of how good you did and try to do the same! btw, what a lil cutie! :) lol

You handled everything great and it shows. That dog should be called "The flash" or "The Blurr" LOL I can just tell how excited he was about the party! I like the way you had what I am going to call a "Five of things" holiday dinner.. 5 bites of each food, 5 bites of pie and 5 glasss of wine!! LOL Now that's my kind of woman and diet!! I love it!!Are you sure you're not part of my family?? I think you might be! I know you will do well on the scales, you always come through

I love that puppy. What's his name? He looks quite frisky. That is serious self control! You did great! Congrats! 5 glasses of wine is more than I could handle. That would have put me to sleep. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

Fantastic job of being very conscious of what you were eating. I looooove dogs and although the pics aren't very clear, I love the one of him in someone's arms with his head upside down? Hope I'm seeing that right. Happy Thanksgiving!
